Review:  Yeah!  Another volume of the Wallflower!! This book is so funny!  It’s episodic and has no depth, but it’s delightfully amusing.

In this volume, Sunako eats poisoned mushrooms that turn her into the guys’ ideal fantasy girl in "Oui Monsieur."  They soon learn that having the perfect girl cleaning up after them isn’t as great as they thought.  How can they get Sunako to change back to her old self?

Next, in "Little Lost Boy," Ranmaru gets a little surprise – he has a son!  I thought this was the best chapter in the book.  It was sweet and funny.

I thought "The Strongest Women in the World" was the weakest chapter.  The gang attends a Halloween party with the landlady, and chaos ensues (naturally!).  While it had some really funny moments, and it played up Sunako’s love of the macabre, the story just wasn’t up to par.

In "A Scary Winter Story," Kyohei is admitted to the hospital after breaking his leg in the previous chapter while rescuing Sunako.  Sunako is just quivering with delight at the prospect of discovering a dissected cadaver, or stumbling across some secret human experiments.  Her antics sneaking around the hospital were a riot.  To spice up the chapter, there’s even a ghost story thrown in.  This chapter made up for the last one!

Cool! I just got Volume 4 to read last weekend.  This series has been a delight to read. It looks like I’ve got a few more volumes to go before I catch up. ^_^
